St. Mary's Health Center and Audrain Medical Center now have the same name – SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. SSM Health brings nationally-recognized health care services to communities throughout Mid-Missouri. In Mid-Missouri, SSM Health includes two community hospitals, the 167-bed St. Mary's Hospital – Jefferson City and the 89-bed St. Mary's Hospital – Audrain in Mexico, Missouri. In the rural communities surrounding our hospitals, SSM Health has a network of care that includes more than 30 medical clinics, convenient car​es, home cares, outpatient centers and pharmacies bringing health care close to home.

Our Community Health Needs Assessments 

Community Health Needs Assessments are required under the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, yet they offer SSM Health the opportunity to share mission-related efforts in the community. The goal of the assessments is to unite local organizations and health centers in identifying and working together to address the most pressing public health needs in the communities they serve.

    Before Selecting Your Appointment,

    there are some circumstances that require our assistance with scheduling.

    Please verify the following before proceeding:
    • I am age 35 or older.
    • I am NOT experiencing any issues, such as a lump, nipple discharge or other changes.
    • I was not diagnosed with breast cancer within the last three years.
    • I have not breast fed within the last six months.
    • It has been one year or more since my last appointment.
