Women's Rehab Services

​​​​​Physical therapists are specially trained to offer help for women with Pelvic Floor Disorders. These therapists educate patients on the condition and oversee exercise progression. Results are typically seen in the first six weeks, including a decrease in pain and incontinence.

  • Urinary / fecal incontinence
  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Pelvic pain

​Conservative Treatment is A​vailable with Physical Therapy:

  • Pelvic Floor Muscle strengthening
  • Trunk Strengthening
  • Biofeedback
  • Electrical stimulation

A physician order is needed. Medicare/ most commercial insurance covers treatment for pelvic floor disorders. It is billed as physical therapy.

    there are some circumstances that require our assistance with scheduling.

    Please verify the following before proceeding:
    • I am age 35 or older.
    • I am NOT experiencing any issues, such as a lump, nipple discharge or other changes.
    • I was not diagnosed with breast cancer within the last three years.
    • I have not breast fed within the last six months.
    • It has been one year or more since my last appointment.
