SSM Health Medical Group is proud to announce the additions of Dr. Lori Snook, family medicine physician, and Dr. Leah Habersham, obstetrician/gynecologist, to their medical team.
Snook earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the University of Health Sciences-College of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood, in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a fellow and member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a member of the Missouri State Medical Association.
After receiving her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, Netherlands-Antilles, Habersham completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, New York. She holds professional memberships in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Physician Executives.
"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Snook and Dr. Habersham to our medical team," said Andrea Anderson, Director of Physician Practice Administration at SSM Health Medical Group. "Recruiting these physicians is a big win for our community. Bringing them onboard improves our access to care and both doctors are devoted to providing the best care possible to their patients."
"I practice with an open approach with patients and encourage them to be active participants in their healthcare," Snook said. "Maryville is a special community and even though I worked in another location for the past few years, I continued to live here. SSM Health St. Francis cares about the area it serves and keeps current with the needs of the patients that depend on its services."
According to Habersham, the community also appealed to her. "St. Francis is a community hospital, which has a small enough population that I am afforded the opportunity to get to know my colleagues, as well as my patients. People here really care about the community, and want to be a part of caring for those within the community, as well as making strides to improve the community. Collectively, these are the reasons that I want to practice in Maryville."
Both physicians are accepting new patients and will being seeing patients September 12. To schedule an appointment, call (660) 562-2525. Their offices are located in the SSM Health Medical Group clinic at 2016 South Main (ground floor of the south wing of the hospital) in Maryville.
