MEXICO, MO (September 3, 2014) – SSM Health Care announced today it has entered into an agreement to acquire Audrain County Health Department’s Home Health and Hospice Division. Home care and hospice employees will move to an office on the campus of Audrain Medical Center on October 1 and become SSM Health at Home – Audrain.
SSM Health at Home, a member of SSM Health Care, has provided a full range of home care and hospice services to patients and families for more than 30 years. SSM Health at Home has more than 450 employees who provide home health care, hospice, infusion and private duty services, as well as numerous specialty programs in Missouri, Illinois and Oklahoma. The addition of SSM Health at Home – Audrain will expand SSM Health at Home’s total coverage in the Mid-Missouri region to 20 counties with over 50 employees.
